- conformity assessment procedures and CE marking relating to the
"New Approach" directives;
- labelling;
- formulation of product safety manuals and warning notices;
- matters arising out of the General Product Safety Directive;

- product recalls.
As one of the world's largest
specialist insurance practices, we regularly advise on product
liability insurance issues, including property damage, 'triggering
events', and other policy coverage issues.

We are the sole product liability
lawyers for Iveco, Bic, and Marubeni-Komatsu, and are the main
external product liability advisers to some of the world's largest
manufacturers. We also receive instructions to defend policyholders
against claims on behalf of many major product liability insurers,
including Great Lakes insurance, Zurich, Swiss Re, Gerling, Sompo
Japan, and Mitsui Sumitomo.
